Happy Navaratri and festival season, all. Which means, it is also our fundraising season.

Navatman has taken it in stride, pivoting every step of the way from:

HIRING!

Navatman went from ONE full time position (Sahi) to:

3 full time staff members: Mitali Sonar, Samyukta Ranganathan, Uditha Thiagarajan
2 part time positions: Sierra Powell, Meghana Murthy all during the pandemic transitions.

Online transition:

Taking our classes and moving them fully online. We expect to continue this as we move into 2021 and onwards as we love being able to teach students all over the world!
Now teaching students in 5 countries!

Creating a new series: Nuance by Navatman

For pre-professionals and professionals to gain access to world class artists and teachers and dive deep into particular spaces of knowledge:

Doing all we can to support our community members feel like their growth and journey continues upwards as we continue to face the effects of a varied number of the COVID-19 pandemic, policy shifts, and general marginalization.

Launching a new podcast and our journal - Navatman now gets to shed our light and experiences in the arts on a various string of topics: from tips from teachers to how colonialism affects the Indian arts world and our place within it all.

Launching Drive East into an online platform, inspiring other organizations to charge fees for their services and show how online doesn’t have to be a subpar medium.

If you would like to see Navatman continue into 2021, please consider a donation that suits you. Every small amount counts.

Where your funds go:

The funds go solely to supporting our staff and teachers. It is only because of them that we were able to pivot online and maintain our student base.

Without your support, our staff will have to be cut down, affecting our ability to run classes and events.

What we need:

We are hoping to raise $30,000 for the end of 2020 into 2021. This is just 120 donors giving $250 each.

- If you donate $500, you will receive access to ALL our videos on demand for 2021, a Navatman MERCHANDISE item, and a SHOUTOUT in our upcoming phonathon

- If you donate $1000, you will receive access to ALL our videos on demand for 2021, a SHOUTOUT in our upcoming phonathon, and TWO Navatman MERCHANDISE items
