Post-fire Food System Regeneration
Strategies for Growing Rich, Nutrient Dense Food
Soil Biology Magic and Practical No-Till Implementation
The Role of Diversity in Regenerative Practice
Elizabeth and Paul met while serving in the Peace Corps in the Gambia, West Africa. Elizabeth has a Masters in the Science of Nursing (MSN) and a Masters of Public Health (MPH). Paul continued his Peace Corps agroforestry work and enrichment with a Master Degree in Sustainable Development and a Masters in natural Resources Management from the UN University for Peace. Afterwards Paul continued to dabble in Agroforestry and sustainable land management until the two of them founded Singing Frogs Farm in 2007. Since then, Elisabeth and Paul have developed their innovative no-till soil management system for intensive vegetable production. Since 2011, they have been sharing their farming knowledge and experience with thousands of people through presentations at various conferences and gathering, continuing to operate and innovate at Singing Frogs Farm.
Singing Frogs Farm is a unique no-till ecologically beneficial, highly intensive vegetable farm in Sonoma County, California. Through our innovative regenerative farming systems, including no-till soil management, we have more than quadrupled the organic matter in our soil (which means more nutrient dense food for you!) - all while producing over six times the state average of harvest revenue per acre per year and while bringing back tremendous, healthy populations of pollinators, beneficial insects and vertebrates (our natural pest control). Not only do we use less water to produce our vegetables because of our supercharged soil organic matter, we also use NO chemical sprays of any kind, not even organic sprays, and our awesome crew of year-round employees (not seasonal) have job security.
Solutionary (n.): a person actively engaged in developing and implementing sustainable, regenerative, and just solutions for the urgent climate issues of our time that positively impact communities and our planet.
