At checkout, we offer to either hang it on The Phinney's Angels Tree until the end of January 2021, or mail it now to you or anyone you would like. The ornaments hung on the tree are laminated. Visit the Phinney's Angels Tree at The Pierce Park at 17 Weston Rd, Lincoln, MA.
Sargent Stubby — or Sarge to those who know and love him — is an 11-year-old lovebug who’s got a particular sweet spot for little dogs. He sounds like Chewbacca when he gets excited about going out for his walks at the beach and the neighborhood with his longtime Phinney’s volunteer, Jill, and his bonded buddy Comet, age 13, who also receives support through Phinney’s.
This gentle old soul is the sweetest guy ever. His favorite pastimes are either watching his brother Comet do zoomies around the house from the comfort of his favorite (and battered) armchair, or sucking on Comet’s ears as if they were popsicles. Those kisses can go on for hours, and Comet loves the attention, even though their mom, Donna, doesn’t particularly love the soak wet dog ears!
Even though Comet has slowed down a lot, he still helps Donna around the house, as she is legally blind and elderly. As an elder himself, he deals with his own set of health conditions, for which Phinney’s pays the veterinary bills. Sarge is on prescription food for his heart and gets daily supplements and meds for his joints, eyes and allergies. Not to mention that in 2018 he ate part of his leash and needed stomach surgery!
Help Sarge continue to be happy and safe with Donna
