At checkout, we offer to either hang it on The Phinney's Angels Tree until the end of January 2021, or mail it now to you or anyone you would like. The ornaments hung on the tree are laminated. Visit the Phinney's Angels Tree at The Pierce Park at 17 Weston Rd, Lincoln, MA.
Named after T-Bone Lewis, a larger than life bulldog in the Clifford comic strip, T-Bone has always been a friendly and spirited boy who lives up to his namesake. He was adopted by Luiz when he was a 5-month-old puppy, and 16 years later, their bond and love for each over is stronger than ever.
Sadly, T-Bone has been diagnosed with inoperable cancer, which Phinney's is helping control with steroids. But this resilient little guy continues to enjoy life thanks to Phinney's financial support and his dad's dedication. He especially loves his walks, tail wagging all the way down the hallway, and 14 blocks back and forth on the streets of Boston with Luiz.
T-Bone has tumors in his legs, chin, and neck, which makes wearing a collar uncomfortable. Now he forgoes his collar, and Luiz, who is older and has health issues of his own, makes an extra effort to carry his best buddy, who weighs in at a hefty 22 pounds, so he can still enjoy his outdoor time.
Over the years, T-Bone has had ailments such as severe dental issues that Phinney’s always paid for. If it wasn’t for Phinney’s, says Luiz, he wouldn’t be able to afford the medical care that T-Bone needs. “Phinney's has been very kind to us."
Help T-Bone continue to be happy and safe with Luiz
