Proverbs 31 Women’s Ministry is a Christian support group for widows and destitute married women in Uganda and Kenya, Africa. Group members meet regularly to worship God, pray for and encourage one another, and work on handcrafts (recycled paper jewelry and baskets). Proceeds generated from handcraft sales are used by group members to purchase necessities including food, housing, and healthcare. In addition to income, this women’s ministry also provides protection against the dangers of abuse and exploitation.
