#GivingTuesday at Red Feather Ranch
A place for women vets

Who We Are
Over the past few years, we at Red Feather Ranch have been working tirelessly to bring to life the dream of our founder and Navy veteran, Paige Jenkins, of a safe haven for women veterans. Women veterans are a rapidly growing population that face unique challenges: homelessness, mental health issues, and military sexual trauma. Our goal at Red Feather Ranch is to create a place where women vets can build connections and reconnect themselves to the land and to themselves.
2020 Accomplishments
Days before the Governor of Oregon shut down the state in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we improvised and adapted by creating virtual peer support groups for women veterans.
Following the success and demand of the peer support groups, we added an intensive life-skills program also for women vets. We are setting out this #GivingTuesday to expand our outreach to ensure we are able to serve every woman veteran who reaches out to us for assistance.
Why #GivingTuesday?
In an effort to further boost our mission and increase our overall contribution to serving the needs of women veterans, we’re embracing #GivingTuesday this year on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. #GivingTuesday is a global movement meant to counteract the spirit of consumerism over the holidays with a day dedicated to giving. We believe we can attract a community of engaged supporters who will contribute to Red Feather Ranch and invite their friends and family to participate in the spirit of giving!
