Dear PNAA chapters and supporters,
The Philippine Nurses Association of America,Inc(PNAA) is activating the Kababayan Emergency Preparedness Funding Program (KEPF) with the goal of providing a proactive and immediate source of emergency funding for the disaster victims in the most recent typhoon Ulysses (VAMCO) that devastated several areas in Metro Manila, Bicol Region, Quezon Province, Bulacan, Isabela, Pampanga, Province of Rizal, Cavite, Batangas, and other neighboring provinces. Ulysses is the third typhoon in less than three weeks that impacted the Philippines.
Due to the severe catastrophic damages and suffering that affect our kababayans, PNAA supports the humanitarian mission of providing monetary donation. The PNAA Executive Board approves the designated non-government agencies or other groups to distribute the funds. PNAA is aware that it would take a long recovery process for our country similar to the other calamities.
We appreciate everyone’s rapid response to this plea and we welcome monetary donations from your chapters and members to support the KEPF humanitarian mission to make this possible. This is very timely to show our kindness and our compassionate achievements.
Mr. Romeo DeVera, the Community Outreach Chair will provide an oversight on the fund distribution.
Mary Joy Garcia-Dia DNP, RN, FAAN
