Help us to keep the stage lights bright!
We are so thankful! We were able to ride out the Covid storm through support from our parents and donors like you. We are seeing sunnier days ahead. While not at capacity, summer camp programming resumed; excitement about fall after-school programming resulted in waitlists; and outreach programming at Mt Airy restarted with production of “A Christmas Carol” in December. We are thankful that you love the arts as much as we do – for your children and yourself. The arts are needed now more than ever.
With generous support from the Scripps Family Education Foundation and the Nellie Leaman Taft Foundation, we have outreach programming covered at Mt. Airy Elementary through 2022. We are also planning to offer June summer programming at Mt. Airy during their Summer Scholars program. We are very grateful and appreciative of these foundations. Our outreach serves communities that have had arts funding cut so we are especially happy to be filling this need.
Though we are thankful to be back in action, we are not at 100% and need to close the gap and meet our budget. We want to continue our popular summer programming – musical theatre and film production camp. About 20% of our budget is filled by supportive donors and parents. At this giving time of year, we are thankful for our supporters. Please consider CAPA in your year-end giving. Your help will allow CAPA to continue its mission to foster and inspire excellence in all aspects of the performing arts – in communities like yours and those that are underserved.
Thank you in advance for your consideration!
