Do you believe that no child should ever be turned away from participating in programs or events provided by the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department due to financial hardship?
We believe that as well.
It makes us smile, knowing that a child less fortunate was provided the opportunity to experience the camaraderie and sportsmanship of organized sports, the excitement and wonder of excursions to local beaches, mountains, cultural attractions and special events, the creativity and innovation of art and music, and long lasting friendships and memories, the kind that change lives.
You can help change a child’s life by supporting the RIVERSIDE COMMUNITY SERVICES FOUNDATION (RCSF) with a tax-deductible gift in any amount.
Regardless of how much you can help, we urge you to respond quickly because so many children are missing out on opportunities and events as you read this. Give them the opportunity to enjoy open green space, make new friends, play, and learn skills that will assist them as they move into adulthood. Over the years, RCSF has provided over 5,000 children with the opportunity to participate in activities they wouldn’t otherwise have been able to enjoy. The RCSF’s founders didn’t want to accept the belief that due to low income, a child was different or unable to participate in the PRCSD’s programs and events. So they, along with the PRCSD, pioneered programs that would benefit ALL children and founded the RCSF to assist in fundraising to ensure all children, no matter financial status, could participate.
The only way to do this is with your help.
That’s why we are hoping you will return a life changing donation to the Riverside Community Services Foundation today.
It takes just $40 to place a child in a PRCSD sponsored and offered sport league or lifelong learning class. But it also takes a passion for children, which we know you have.
You can take pride in the fact that your generosity will touch the lives of thousands of children each year! Please give as generously as you can to help the Riverside Community Services Foundation reach its fundraising goal of $70,000 and enhance the lives of children.
