DSNNN Support After Theft
Hello Wonderful Community!
As many of you know, we were burglarized on Friday, November 20th.
Please see the public statement we issued:
"Important! please read and share!
Friday morning someone stole all of DSNNN's raffle baskets and new parent baskets.
DSNNN is a local nonprofit helping individuals with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities, and their families in the Reno area.
The items taken were either going to fund our programs, or were to be given to families in Northern Nevada who have just had a new baby with Down syndrome.
DSNNN is trying so hard to survive the pandemic, and does not have the funds to replace the items stolen.
Someone knows something, please, If you have info to help us get our items back,
please email firstname.lastname@example.org. We will not press charges, all we want is to be able to help our families. Please help!"
Although we were desperately pleading to get the items back, we have not had any leads. We have had many people ask us if they could support in the form of donations, so we have created this page. Please know we are not expecting anything!! We would really love to get the items back or replace them. This has been a hard year for everyone, including the woman who did this. If she had just come to us, we would have supported her in any way we could. If you would like to make a donation, thank you. If you are here with leads, thank you. If you are spreading the word, thank you. If you are just here to learn more about us thank you.
We are so saddened, but hopeful!
