Destiny was adopted by another family when she was 2 years old because the situation in her home was one of complete hopelessness. At that time she was rescued by a former staff member of Hope Academy, our academic school. Even her name was chosen by inspiration from another Destiny in Sikkim's Hope Home.

As Destiny grew the family that initially took her in found the responsibility and challenges more than they could bear, and they asked us if we could help. We happily received her into Sikkim's Hope Home when she was 8 years old. We thank God we can now help give Destiny a future filled with hope!

Celebrating Destiny! August 05, 2021

Our dear Destiny turned 9 years old on August 4th. It's her first birthday with us in the Hope Home and we're blessed to celebrate her precious life. She's an intelligent little girl with a glorious future ahead of her. She's doing well in school and she's growing in her relationship with Jesus. Please join us in praying for her blessed future.
