You have an opportunity to be a part of helping us start next year with a bang. We ask that you pray about giving to this ministry and being a part of changing lives for eternity. We are looking forward to what God has in store for us in 2021. In addition to our normal archery programs, youth camps, retreats, and mission trips we are excited about some new ministry opportunities in 2021. Rejoice with us and pray for God's provision and guidance as we continue to plan for next year. Here are just a few opportunities coming in the new year.
We have teamed up with the newly founded YWAM (Youth With A Mission) base here in Starkville Mississippi. Their goal is to know God and to make Him known. Kingdom Outdoors has been asked to be a part of their first Discipleship Training School here in Starkville. We will spend time with the DTS students every week during their three month lecture phase. Our hope is these students will connect with Creator God as we train and equip them to use the outdoors as a tool to share Jesus to the least reached and most needy.
Due to challenges with COVID19 we were unable to take a team on our annual archery trip to the Dominican Republic in 2020. However, it looks like the doors are open to take multiple trips with different focuses including archery in 2021. We are also looking at the possibility of taking a team to Honduras to minister in remote villages.
We have partnered with the Starkville Parks and Recreation Department and will be offering an archery course to local youth. We are very excited about this. In the past we have offered our archery through local churches. This new opportunity will enable us to connect with youth from numerous back grounds. We may be the first glimpse of Jesus they have ever seen!
Father Son Retreat
We have made plans to host a father son retreat in the spring. We believe father and son bonds are important. We also know the importance of our relationship with our Heavenly Father. Our desire is that through this event the bonds between fathers and sons will strengthen as they pursue a deeper relationship with their Heavenly Father.
Josiah Buckner attended a 45 day Survival Instructor Training Course this fall. We are now able to offer basic, primitive and advanced survival courses. There is a huge demand for this type of training. Our hope is by offering this it will bring people from all walks of life and give us an opportunity to teach them about the greatest survival expert-Jesus!
Kingdom Outdoors is a non-profit organization and we depend on your generosity to continue the ministry God has called us to. Will you invest in the Kingdom work that we are doing? Wether you sign up to be a monthly donor or make a one time gift no amount is too small. When you give you directly impact the Kingdom and are a part of everything being accomplished through Kingdom Outdoors.
