The Beto Mena Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to supporting families affected by the pandemic. It was created in loving memory of Jose Roberto "Beto" Alvarez-Mena who passed away in July 2020 due to COVID-19 complications.
The mission of the organization is to personally help those in the community--mano a mano (hand to hand)--who are struggling and need help the most during this trying time. The Beto Mena Foundation has helped over 50 families in Mexico and El Salvador by providing basic necessities and food baskets and is currently expanding its efforts in the United States. Beto Mena Foundation is a proud affiliate of Project for a Village.
