CRNA is proud to partner with Move Untied in offering an all veteran Multi Paralympic Nordic sport camp at the new Nordic Complex in The Winter Sports Capital of the World-Lake Placid, NY. The all-veteran gathering will focus on, xc skiing, biathlon, trail orienteering, skeleton as well as experiencing all the glory , history and legacy lake Placid has to offer. Off season dry land learning and training will occur at a variety of venues in and around the village. Veterans will also be introduced to Lake Placid which will only add to a great nordic experience!

The camp is limited to  veterans with a variety of THIS-ABLED disabilities: amputee, spinal cord, neurologic, mobility impairments, PTSD et al. THIS-ABLED Program stakeholders are also invited to see how CRNA sports can be shared to benefit their athletes. Participants must be willing to be excited about learning new and different sports in a climate where all help all to get the most out of their time in Lake Placid.

Due to receding COVID19, the camp will require up to date CDC preventive measures.  Some presentations may be virtual and at different facilities. Understanding and patience are most appreciated. All attendees should be fully vaccinated, with masks and social distancing of at least an arm's length when in most camp environments.

As the camp is being sponsored by CRNA's VA Adaptive Sport program Grant, there are no incurred expenses other than personal purchases to any attendees.

Lodging in Lake Placid will be at the Wildwood On the Lake- the view is worth the trip!!!
