Hypertufa Workshop 'Set in Stone'
HYPERTUFA WORKSHOP “SET IN STONE”
Two-part series June 12th and 19th, 2021
You’ve seen these stylish troughs in other gardens. You probably thought it would be too hard to make one, but we’ll show you how to make a unique trough to display your garden treasures. These beautiful containers are the perfect homes for alpine plants, succulents, dwarf hostas, dwarf conifers and more. We'll give you the skills to make your own totally beautiful, unique and long-lasting, weatherproof hypertufa containers. Participants will leave with a handout that includes a recipe and complete instructions, as well as the confidence to build an artistic, yet inexpensive, container that will be a reason for friends to visit your garden.
This is a two-part workshop. Saturday, June 12th we will be making the troughs, and Saturday June 19th we will plant them with perennial sedums or alpine plants.
You must register in advance; space is limited. No refunds for cancellations made on or after June 9th. $10 cancellation fee applies for all cancellations. This workshop will take place outside with adequate space for social distancing; please dress for the weather. Face coverings are encouraged per municipality guidelines.
