Elsie Honors
Elsie was challenged to raise $50,000 and did but now wants to go for $75k!

I reached $50,000 all thanks to you! My initial goal was reached on February 12 so I have now bumped my goal to $75,000 which will cover all 84 Veterans on flight. I have until the flight leaves now to raise this amount as my first goal was met before March 1st. Thank you for your support!
The Elsie Honors page follows a young lady with big dreams. Since August 2017, our Patriotic Princess has had the privilege of meeting over 1,150 of our Veterans to say Thank You. She gives each a special personalized dog tag to commemorate their specific flight when they return to Sioux Falls. She wanted to pay it even further and sponsored a flight at the "Medal of Honor Flight" level of $50,000. Now, since she has surpassed this goal, she wants to go for $75,000 to cover all 84 Veterans on flight. Please help me rewrite this final chapter of their lives. Our American Veterans deserve nothing less. Equal priority is given to any terminally ill veteran who has never visited their Memorials. If America thought it was important to build a memorial to their service and sacrifice, Midwest Honor Flight believes it’s important for them to visit their memorial before it’s too late.
Every $853 that we receive will send one (1) veteran out to DC to see THEIR memorials. Won't you consider a donation towards an American Hero's Final Tour with Honor? The cost to conduct an average Midwest Honor Flight trip out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota is now approximately $175,000. This is the cost associated with transporting about 80 American Veterans, round-trip airfare, meals, rental of four motor coaches in the Washington, D.C. area, Park Police escort services, t-shirts for the Veterans, insurance, etc. The Guardians that join us and our own volunteer crew make a donation to cover the cost of their own way to ensure donations go to the Veterans on flight.
