Spring marks the season of rebirth and regeneration: it heralds the signs that the Prayers and Hopes of the Winter are answered. Resilience and the human spirit are what has sustained us during this difficult year. Though the pandemic still is affecting our lives, we embrace our intentions of renewal as we plan for our Spring garden. We cultivate the healing energy for our community and world with our intentions, prayers, and the hope that what we plant will bloom and nourish our spirits and our bodies.

For those of you who don’t know us, Kunsi Keya Tamakoce is a non-profit organization founded over 30 years ago by Beverly Little Thunder, a two-spirit Lakota elder and enrolled member of the Standing Rock Band. Though we have not met in person we continue to pray for you. The heartbeat of Kunsi Keya Tamakoce is in each of us and our community is strong. Kunsi Keya Tamakoce has touched our lives in many ways; some remember the experience of being on the land, while others are looking forward to being together to personally experience what we created virtually. A community of like-minded women, individuals walking a spiritual path, and a caring that is unconditional.

We are humbly asking for your financial support, your tax-deductible donations will ensure that this vision, these teachings, and this land can be maintained for not just us, but for those yet to come.
