Hurricane Ida has displaced hourly coffee workers across Louisiana.

Go Fund Bean is mobilizing resources to help as much as we can. Right now, there is an immediate need to begin covering lost wages and making sure people have access to food and gasoline. Hourly coffee workers in New Orleans and surrounding areas have been out of work for over a week, and with the extensive damage and flooding that has happened to businesses, they will be out of work longer.

Our goal is to give $500 to every worker who needs it.

$500 will begin to cover lost wages as well as food, gasoline, and other travel expenses incurred by evacuating.

The coffee community is known for supporting each other in times of need--this is one of those times. Donate now and please share! We will continue updating this fundraiser with more information as we get it.
