Carlos Cacuango

27-year-old Carlos Cacuango has lived at Casa Gabriel for almost 6 years now. Carlos is about to finish university and shared a little about his experience at Casa Gabriel and about his education.
“Before Casa G I was kind of stuck in life and not making good decisions for my future. I was 15 years old when a Casa G guy impacted my life by the way he had been transformed by God. Through our friendship, I was able to leave the other path in my life and started making better decisions and actually had a desire to live again. Since then, God has put dreams and goals in my life and I want to serve Him with my talents.
I didn’t start the full-time program at Casa G until I was 21 or 22 and was struggling with working and finishing high school at the same time. God used different people and circumstances to encourage me and help me finish high school.
I am continually amazed by how far I’ve gotten in my education and I’m very thankful for it. It has been challenging to keep studying through a pandemic but the Lord has provided.
I’m very thankful for the people God has placed in my life to help and to invest in my personal growth.
I will begin my senior year of college [studying music] in the Fall of 2021 and I couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity to study. I want to use music as a way to impact others and live in a way that will bring other people to Jesus.
Carlos needs $8,000 to finish his studies. Would you be willing to help him complete his education so he can serve others?
