ABOUT Civitas Lancaster

Civitas is a new organization that carries a long standing tradition of serving the Lancaster community. Civitas Lancaster is a non-profit 501c3 successor to Sertoma Club of Lancaster. Civitas means "citizenship" in Latin which was chosen because it reflects the organization's mission to be good citizens of the community. The choice to separate from Sertoma was a board decision to carry on the 7-decade tradition of service the Lancaster community so 100% of all proceeds can continue to go back to the Lancaster community. Proceeds directly benefit the Lancaster community, Long’s Park improvement projects, programs for at risk youth, and other local nonprofits.
