2021: Persisting
Woodlawn Community Table has accomplished so much this year despite the pivoting required from pandemic struggles. In January, though delayed, the third group of cooperative members was launched and hit the ground running. Allowing us to serve an additional 29 number of Woodlawn residents, increases our membership by 5%! Additionally, we began partnering with East Lake UMC and their staff to support their launching another chapter in their neighborhood. We were the recipients of bountiful produce harvest from our neighbors at Jones Valley Teaching Farm, right down the street. Society of St. Andrew also connected us to several farmers across Central Alabama who allowed us to glean produce directly from their land-another blessing to our members.

What Your Gift Will Accomplish

With your support, more Woodlawn residents will have regular access to healthy food. As the saying goes: many hands make light work.
- Your gift of $10/month purchases cleaning supplies for the entire coop.
- Your gift of $20/month ensures fresh produce for coop members.
- Your gift of $30/month sponsors the gas used in the box we share with Avondale Samaritan's Place.
- Your gift of $50/month covers the cost of meat for each coop member.
