SUPPORT THE WORK OF MUSIC IS FIRST!
We are proud of our ability to continue to provide music residencies in public schools both virtually and in person to meet the needs of the schools and students since 2019. Being able to provide enrichment to students and educators at a time when schools were stretched was essential.
But here’s the thing, running a nonprofit is A LOT more expensive than people realize!
We pride ourselves in being able to pay our teaching-artists top dollar and provide classrooms with the resources they need for a well rounded musical education, but that doesn’t always leave funding for our operational or administrative costs (including website fees, fiscal sponsor fees, supplies, legal stuff etc.) Though we have a very low overhead, work efficiently (just like any educator or mom does!) and have donated our money and many sleepless nights to bring more music resources to people, we really need your help to continue our important work.
Where your money will go:
$25 - A pair of rhythm stick for a student
$50 - Keep our website running
$100 - Backend costs for grant applications to ensure continued funding
$300 - A classroom set of instruments including shipping and storage fees
$1000 - A music residency/assembly for a school including artist salary, admin and payroll fees
Donations are tax-deductible, excluding the value of thank you gifts, through our fiscal sponsorship under Intersection for the Arts, a not-for-profit 501(c)3: tax-exempt ID 94-1593216.
