Help Me Build Solar Powered Water Plants for Villagers in the Remote Deserts of Pakistan
In 2019 we formed the OMOB. With our H2OMOB x Thaakat Foundation initiative, we aim to make a positive difference in the lives of those who need it most. Join us in our journey to provide clean water and sustenance to underprivileged communities around the world!
What Life is Like for Villagers
In the district of Tharparker, located southeast of Sindh, Pakistan, more than 90% of the population lives in rural villages without access to clean water. The people of this regional district live below the poverty line and face obstacles in living their daily lives. With a lack of healthcare and concerns of evergrowing epidemics like diarrhea and measles increasing daily, the population faces a number of challenges when it comes to health and livelihood. Food and water shortages are of utmost importance and require the most immediate attention. Clean and accessible water is essential to prevent the increase and spread of disease. According to the United Nations, water scarcity, poor water quality, and inadequate sanitation negatively impacts food security, livelihood choices, and educational opportunities for millions globally.
But with your support we can make a difference
With your help, my goal is to establish 5 more solar powered water plants in this remote region of Pakistan
Costs
Each well will cost $2200. Our goal is to raise enough to build 5. See a breakdown of the costs per well below.

Thaakat Foundation is a non-political, non-religious organization; however, we do collect and distribute Zakaat as appropriate for our DREAMS for Kachra Kundi school site in Karachi, Pakistan. Zakaat is an obligatory charitable donation Muslims make on 2.5% of their wealth.
