Beer in the Garden Thursday September 16th 2021
A Fundraiser for Alaska Botanical Garden
BEER TASTING TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT
Our annual beer tasting Fundraiser is back on Thursday September 16th from 6:00-9:00pm! This year, enjoy Beer in the Garden amongst the beautiful autumn foliage and harvest themed displays. Due to the times, this year will be a smaller scale event with eight participating breweries and a smaller capacity of guests. Come out and help support the Garden, local breweries and food trucks at this festive mid-September event!
Tasting tickets include admission to the Garden and tastings from each of the local breweries. Designated Driver participants will will be provided non-alcoholic beverages created by Wild Fork catering. Local food vendors and trucks will also be on-site with tasty food for purchase. Enjoy live hot club swing and speakeasy music from The Nicholas Anthony Quartet, lead by Nicholas Petumenos and accompanied by Kat Moore and Logan Bean (of the Super Saturated Sugar Strings) and Forest Wilson (of the Janglebees).
We have extremely limited parking at the Garden— so carpooling with friends and family or getting dropped off is a must! Please be responsible and designate a driver. Also consider riding your bike, or even walking if you are close enough!
In an effort to further our sustainable practices, ABG will not be gifting the 7oz stainless steel tasting cups this year and in the future. Stainless steel tasting cups are to be returned to ABG when you're finished with the event. If you really enjoy the cup and wish to purchase one, there will be a chance to do so at the end of the event on your way out.
This is a 21 or older event (no babes in arms). You must bring a valid photo ID to enter (no exceptions). Also remember to bring cash and a credit card to purchase food from the local food trucks & vendors!
Tickets are non-refundable and this event will happen rain or shine.
While masks are optional at this outdoor event, we strongly encourage you to bring one to have on hand for crowded areas of the Garden (like the entry plaza at check-in or in the restrooms). Please respect social distancing and give 6 ft of space between members of different households. Do not attend if you are experiencing any symptoms. Contact our office with any COVID related concerns.
