For 14 years, The Contributor has provided a means of income for people climbing out of homelessness: a micro-business selling newspapers. 


But it's more than that. Inside that paper we report on issues around homelessness and hear from people that have experienced it firsthand. The longstanding relationships we have with this community are ones you won't find at any other publication covering homelessness and poverty here in Nashville. 


This paper forges connections between vendors and their community, and also with us, so we can help with the nitty gritty of getting into housing.
