The Tea & Verse Poetry Salon exists to increase the appreciation, understanding, accessibility, and support of poetry within communities. We believe that poetry can serve as a source of personal inspiration; be a viewfinder to gain an empathetic perspective into common human experiences; be utilized as a medium of social justice, equity, and change; and act as a listening room resonating truths, concerns and hopes for humanity and the state of the world.


We endeavor to provide workshops to engage readers' interest in poetry; curate literary and performance events for bourgeoning and seasoned writers and interdisciplinary artists; host support and resource meetings for writers and artists; and organize patronage opportunities for residents, businesses and other entities to support the work of writers and artists.
