December Letter!
The month of December is here and 2021 is basically gone! I
don’t know about you, but in December I tend to get a little “introspective”. I
begin to think back over the year that has gone and about the new year in front
of me. I think of all the difficulties I have experienced and then I am
reminded of those around me who have it much worse than I do.
No matter how this year of 2021 has gone for you, there are
probably a lot of folks who have had it worse. I know of several friends and
family who have lost loved ones or faced major health issues; and then there
are those who we are called to minister to. Those un-housed neighbors, those
who are in bondage to drugs and/or alcohol, and those who are just facing truly
catastrophic struggles.
No matter how bad my year may seem, I know God has blessed
and protected me and my family. If the same is true for you, would you consider
a gift to help us share God’s blessing and protection to those who are in
distress this Christmas Season? Your gift could make an incredible impact on a
life during this time of the year! Please
consider helping us continue “Meeting
Needs, Making Change, and Magnifying Christ!”
We are also looking forward to our Annual Free Community Christmas Dinner,
on December 24th, where we will be outside the Bessie Smith Cultural
Center serving between 300 and 400
traditional meals to those in need in the Chattanooga Area! If you would like more information you can
