Inspiring, Empowering, and Igniting Potential!

Dear Neighbor,
Just as you are, we are faced with the fact that our nation is in the midst of what is now a couple of national emergencies. We take these threats very seriously; and we are all concerned for the health and safety of our family, friends, and community. As the kids in our program face these fears, we are actively working to sustain the quality and consistency of mentoring that occurs during normal times. To continue Big Brothers Big Sisters’ proven effective services your support is urgent. We cannot do this alone; we need your help to meet their needs (and ensure our community’s future).
Will you consider becoming a monthly donor? Making a one-time gift? Your contribution will directly impact the success of our children, who are often left behind, and the Tennessee Valley. Your support is critical to making this a realization!
"Our office studied all the agencies that serve children nationwide, and BBBS is the most effective program at changing a child’s direction in life.” Caryn Harp, Administrator Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, Dept of Justice
“Show me a resilient kid and I will show you at least one adult in his or her life who cared.”
Pat Stanislaski, Partnering for Prevention
“The presence of a caring adult is related to numerous positive outcomes, including greater resilience, lower stress, less likelihood of arrest, reductions in homelessness, higher levels of employment, less delinquent conduct, favorable health, less suicidal ideation, reductions in rapid repeat pregnancies, and better outcomes for the children of teen mothers.” Child Welfare Information Gateway
