Who can attend? Any member of Law Enforcement, First responder that is interested in learning more about Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Arkansas and how they can take their city/county to the next level of engagement.
What does it cost?Attending the event is free. Advance registration is required. Please complete the online registration form.
Whatmeals am I responsible for during this event?The following Meals are provided for the conference: Lunch on the
10th, Dinner on the 10th, Breakfast on the 11th.
What is Winter Games? This is a statewide competition that happens in Springdale every year. It always hosts the sport Floor hockey and occasionally a few other sports. Athlete from all over the state will attend. The Kick-off conference would not be the same if there was not an exciting way to engage with Special Olympics Arkansas athletes. Officers who attend will have different opportunities to participate including presenting awards! Full schedule of competition will be released in 2022.
Where is the competition?Jones Center for Familieswhich, depending on morning traffic, may take about 25 minutes to get to. Their address is: 922 E. Emma, Springdale, AR.
Will we Present Awards be held at the same location?Yes, due to the change in layout because of covid-19 the awards will be presented during the day at the Jones Center. (more details soon)
Where will the conference sessions be held?Registration and daily sessions will be held s at the Holiday Inn Springdale. (specific details to be emailed)
