All Access Project - Vergennes Opera House

HELP GIVE THE OPERA HOUSE A 'LIFT'

The "All Access" project is a comprehensive plan to upgrade and provide full accessibility to the Vergennes Opera House in three phases:

1) A newly constructed elevator tower affixed to the southwest side of the building, providing easy access to both the lower level of City Hall and the second story theater/community space.

2) An improved walkway from the street to this new entrance by repurposing the alleyway between the Opera House and St. Paul's Church, creating a pedestrian courtyard to welcome visitors who need to use the elevator.

3) Interior improvements including a discreet lift from the auditorium level to the stage and dressing room levels for performers with mobility challenges, along with an ADA restroom within the dressing room.
