Apocalypse, Please

A member of Intersection for the Arts.

A play written by Noelle Viñas and Kevin Vincenti, Apocalypse, Please will be performing in March of 2017 at PianoFight in San Francisco. Apocalypse, Please is the exciting result of years of collaboration between artists, engineers, and many different minds across the USA. The plot tells the story of Remy, a computer programmer at the MIT's corporate lab, who is framed for the death of millions of U.S. citizens because of her work with futuristic cell phones. Apocalypse, Please is an ambitious story that blends together science fiction, allegorical Arthurian fantasy, and theater in an attempt to reflect and expose society’s frameworks. Amongst its key themes are questions of responsibility, systemic bias, and of the invisible structures around us – be they race, technology, or magic.
