Jessie's Back - The Infinite Love Mane Event
#BeLikeJessie

Guess who's back? Jessie's BACK!! For those that don't remember or are just meeting Jessie for the first time, back in October of 2019, she committed to cut her hair to spread awareness for Childhood Cancer as well as raise money for Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer. In 2019, she raised over $10,000. She received press coverage from CT News 12 and News 8 and was recognized for her volunteerism by Trumbull First Selectman, Vicki Tesoro.
Some background on Jessie - she is an amazing young woman, from Trumbull, CT who is a student in the Elite Program. She is a spark of energy and fitness buff, who hosts her own virtual exercise classes on Tuesday via Facebook. She is a competitor in the Special Olympics following her success at Trumbull High School, as member of the THS Girls Outdoor Track and Field team.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic she has been growing out her hair with the mission of raising funds for Childhood Cancer Research and to help local families who are struggling with the financial burden a pediatric cancer diagnosis brings.
She will again be cutting her hair at end of October 2021. She wants to use this month to raise funds. Her goal (for now) is $5,000 and we think that is incredible. You can donate through this Flipcause campaign we have started on her behalf.
This is an important cause to her, but I think you need to hear it from her:
"I like to help people and really liked that last time I could help so many people. I liked that some of the money helped another girl at Trumbull High School. I want to help kids not have cancer. I felt so good after I raised all the money last time. It made me so happy. Helping out is a really good thing to do. Everybody should help each other. People should donate because it's a really nice thing to do. We all should help each other. When we work together we can help many more kids and their families. I don't like that lots of kids get sick and can die from cancer. I want them to be happy and feel good."
We are so proud to have Jessie doing this AGAIN for us and we have already learned some amazing things from her. She and her family made us aware that children with Down Syndrome are at a higher risk for Leukemia.
We can't wait to be at the salon and create a Facebook Live Event through the Infinite Love Facebook Page to chronicle Jessie's journey through this fundraiser.
Jessie's Mission is about promoting and helping two organizations: Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer and Children with Hair Loss continue to give the most precious thing one can give to another: HOPE!
