We are officially into “Fall”! I do love this time of year, the crisp air, the changing of leaves, but it’s also the time of year my heart becomes a bit heavier. You see, I know that winter is around the corner and is a really hard time of year for those who use our services. Regardless of whether it is our “un-housed neighbors” we do outreach with or those bound by addiction or other “life-controlling” issues; there is always a higher demand for food, shelter, clothes, and help in general.
With your ongoing partnership and support, we continue to provide for our clients, but we also can open more opportunities to offer help and hope to even more who are struggling with life! Could you imagine facing the oncoming winter, not knowing where you will stay, how you will eat, or how you will deal with homelessness and/or addiction?
The Union Gospel Mission is here to help those who are lost, looking for answers to those questions. We not only offer to meet the immediate, physical needs; but also the eternal, spiritual needs as well! Your investment allows us to continue “Meeting Needs, Making Change, and Magnifying Christ!”
Serving Christ and the Community,
