Christine Daniels- Open Heart Medical Mission
Join My Efforts!
Hi, my name is Christine Daniels, a registered nurse and recent graduate and certified adult/gerontology acute care nurse practitioner. I have been a nurse for 9 years, 7 of which have been caring for an array of patients in the ICU. I’m drawn to the ICU setting because of its quick pace and the critical thinking involved in caring for the sickest patients.
All my life, I’ve enjoyed caring for people and have always dreamt of participating in a medial mission. When I was asked to join the VOOM team, I was ecstatic because it combines my love of helping, the ICU, and caring for open heart patients. During this trip, I will be assisting in the care and recovery of open heart patients, in addition to teaching staff how to care for these patients.
I am honored to have the chance to help those less-fortunate have access to healthcare and a life changing surgery, that they may not otherwise have the opportunity to receive.
I kindly ask that you consider donating to help make this opportunity happen and to help make a difference in dozens of peoples lives.
