I strive as a teacher to empower my students in knowing that they can make a difference. It is most important to me that they are aware of things that are happening in the world and how they can make positive changes. Along with reading the novel, Pay it Forward, and discussing how we can make a change, we were led to Arms Wide Open Childhood Cancer Foundation. We are dedicating everything that we can accomplish this year to the memory of Sweet Sally Sunshine. A girl, and family that has left a lifelong impression on me. Please help my amazing Class 831 in Spreading Sunshine and Awareness. Help me show them the POWER that they hold in making positive changes in many lives. ~Mrs. Ballow
