This event is being organized by students at Isaac Bear accelerated high school in conjunction with Plastic Ocean Project, Inc. Designers of all ages will have the opportunity to model their fashions made out of repurposed materials like old fabrics, vintage clothing from thrift stores, plastics, and other single use materials like paper, etc.
The two hour event will have live music, Paella Fusion food truck, and nonalcoholic beverages. It promises to be a night of wildly creative fashions surrounded by the beautiful gardens at the New Hanover County Arboretum.
If you are not participating you can attend with a $5 donation.
