On any given day, Global Volunteers are working worldwide to help children reach their full potential.  The critical resources in this work are volunteers.  Lots of them.  Working on teams of up to 20 individuals, Global Volunteers provides direct assistance in orphanages, childcare centers, hospitals,  preschools and grade schools, crisis centers, recreation programs and the like for one to three weeks.  By supporting volunteers' efforts, you contribute directly to the future success of children in partner communities.  Projects include teaching hand-washing with soap and water, caring for disabled and abandoned children, teaching conversational English, mentoring teens in life skills, planting household gardens, presenting health care campaigns, tutoring special needs kids in numeracy and literacy, painting classrooms and so much more.  All under the direction of and alongside community leaders, teachers, clergy and parents.  Your generous donation to your chosen volunteer ensures that these services continue year-round.  Thank you for making this investment in the future of our world - our children!
