Mia’s life was brought to an abrupt halt at the age of six years old. On February 15th, 2021 (ironically coinciding with International Childhood Cancer Day) Mia was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Her diagnosis didn’t stop there because cancer cells were unfortunately found in her spinal column as well, which put her at High Risk ALL. With this diagnosis Mia has/will continue receiving more extensive chemotherapy treatments throughout her two- and half-year road to recovery.

Mia is now seven years old and continues to fight hard going through many ups and downs no child should ever have to go through. Mia’s end of treatment date is June 9th, 2023, meaning another year and half defeating this dreaded disease. Mom and Dad have had to take extensive lengths of time off work and are asking for help financially to help pay for medical and other out of pocket expenses that keep accumulating at a rapid pace.
