Please join us this year as we will thank multiple special honorees at our annual Gala, Voices of Aphasia. Gala Co-Chairs, Myrna and Yale Block and Alexandra V. Gallo, Esq., invite you to this year’s in-person event, where we will recognize our influencers - our honorees, our aphasia community and our supporters. The gala will be held Wednesday, June 8^th from 6 to 9 pm at Seasons, Washington Twp., NJ.

Join us as we recognize Eisai, Inc. with the Mike and Elaine Adler Humanitarian Award, for their generous support to the Center and the aphasia community. The Karen Tucker Advocacy Award will be presented to Ginette Abbanat and Karen Castka, speech therapist pioneers and collaborators who developed Adler Aphasia Center’s programming. Nino and Joanne Martino will be recognized as our Shining Stars, for their important contributions to our Center. The Bergen County Sheriff’s Department will be receiving our Community Service Award. Justice Marie L. Garibaldi will be remembered for her contributions to our community. Emmy Award-winning anchor, Thirteen/WNET(PBS) and NJTV(PBS), author and longtime friend of the Center, Steve Adubato, Ph.D., will once again emcee our event.
