Hope's Second Chance
Hope sat patiently by the door, waiting
for her mom to return, having no idea that her owner had passed away. Port St.
Lucie Animal Control found Hope, flea invested and hungry. Animal Control
brought Hope to the Humane Society of St. Lucie County.
While at our no-kill animal shelter, Hope won our hearts over, including an amazing animal rescuer, Karen Prince. Karen decided to open her home to foster Hope. We are so thankful to have Hope in a home to help heal her heart.
Unfortunately, Hope’s health has just taken a turn for the worse. In her foster home, she has recently started to experience seizures. Hope visited the vet and the seizures were confirmed. She is in desperate need of an MRI and a spinal tap, which we are unable to perform at the Humane Society of St. Lucie County Wellness Center. Please help us help Hope. This poor girl doesn’t deserve any more heart ache.
