CYSA Summer Strings Academy 2022 Registration

August 15-19, 2022

SSA Philharmonia : 9am-noon

Intended for: Students entering 5th-8th grade, with 3+ years of playing experience​
  • Violin, viola, cello, and bass students
  • Music will be middle-school orchestra level 
Taught by:
  • Elementary Strings teachers Bettine Zimmermann, Anne Ridlington, Ella Jones, & Annissa Bolder
  • Guest fiddle/improv teacher
Tuition of $250 includes:
  • Daily sectionals, orchestra rehearsal, and fiddle / improvisation class
  • Pizza party
  • Summer Strings Academy T-Shirt
  • Final performance and cookie reception


SSA Sinfonietta : 1-3pm
Intended for: Students entering 3rd-5th grade with 1-2 years of playing experience
  • Violin, viola, and cello students 
Taught by:
  • Elementary Strings teachers Bettine Zimmermann, Anne Ridlington, Ella Jones, & Annissa Bolder

  • Daily sectionals + technique bootcamp and orchestra rehearsal
