Willkommen! So, just what is "Gemütlichkeit"? In German, it's a feeling of warmth, friendliness, and good cheer. It's a combination of mood and place. And at DAS Fest USA, gemütlichkeit is plentiful. So how is it pronounced? Geh - moot - lich - kite. Close enough!
In 2021, we launched a 3-day German festival promoting culture and unity at the Walworth County Fairgrounds. We need and appreciate your support in keeping this festival going and growing for years to come! All proceeds from DAS Fest USA benefit over 40 nonprofit agencies.
With a $75 "Gemütlichkeit Wish" you'll receive up to 25 words printed on a banner that will be displayed on the grounds at the festival.
