Chanelle Price Fund
On January 12, Chanelle price was diagnosed with numerous blood clots in both of her lungs. We wanted to create this page where friends, family and fans could leave words of encouragement and support. She recently posted on Facebook how grateful she was to be alive and that she didn't want attention or sympathy. She is staying positive, grateful and keeping God first. We as the track community wanted to come together to show our love and support for Chanelle during this time in her life.
Chanelle is currently on the USATF Athletes Advisory Committee (AAC) as the Women's At-Large Chair. She won the 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championship in the 800 meters and has served as captain of the victorious US team at the World Relays. She is also a NACAC U23 champion, NACAC champion, and current NACAC Record holder in the 4x800m. Not only is Chanelle a talented and accomplished athlete, she is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. She has greatly impacted the track community with her sportsmanship and genuine kindness.
Please leave a comment or message of support! There is an option to donate if you would like to help. Some of the donation money can help with hospital and doctor's bills as well as getting her family to Arizona where she currently lives and trains.
A special message from her friends Raven Clay, Kendra Chambers and Jasmin Stowers: We are here with you on this journey! We love you! Hellooo!
