Did you know there are over 400,000 children in the US foster care system and over 16,000 of those children are right here in Illinois?
At The Ranch of Hope Reins we believe everyone is responsible for unwanted, abused, and/or neglected children. Especially those that are living in our very own community. This is why we are launching the second year of our mentorship program for children in foster care or who have been adopted. Stable Moments is a national program developing life skills in foster/adopted youth for healthy transitions into adulthood.
Each child in the Stable Moments program gets:
- An intake assessment
- An individualized plan of care
- A mentor that meets with them weekly for 9 months
- A horse that will assist in life skill development
To be able to provide this unique program at The Ranch of Hope Reins we need to raise $6,600 by March 1, 2022. This will provide 5 children sponsorships for the entire 2022 session, which runs from March-November. I know you agree that children in foster care deserve someone to show them they matter, and you can help us do just that.
