Theatre will be taught by Trike Theatre! Come and experience a fun and engaging time!

Artistic Director and Founder of Trike Theatre Kassie Misiewicz is a professional educator and director of youth theater. She earned her BA in Theatre from the University of Notre Dame and her MFA in Theatre for Youth from Arizona State University. Before creating Trike Theatre in 2008, Kassie was the co-founder and first artistic director of TheatreSquared in Fayetteville, AR; Director of Education Outreach at Seattle Children's Theatre; and Associate Artistic Director at First Stage Children's Theatre in Milwaukee. Currently, she is a national arts integration consultant with Focus5 and a national teaching artist with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. Kassie loves to travel with her family, work with kids, and throw spontaneous dance parties in the kitchen.

Unlock your child's creativity! Through improvisation and creative storytelling, students expand their confidence as they learn new ways to use the actor's tools—body, voice, imagination, concentration, and collaboration— to act out the inspiring story of Sultana Razia, India’s first female Muslim ruler. Kassie is a master at her work and brings her expertise to this workshop specially created for Ra-Ve. As we continue to collaborate on bigger projects together, this workshop will be a great starting point for your child to inlock his/her interest in theatre and story telling techniques that will open more opportunities in the future to participate in other theatre based projects in the community.
