Hip-Hop Masterclass with TRIX
Join us on Sunday, January 30th for a Hip-Hop Masterclass, Q&A, and audition prep session (for The Joffrey Ballet School's Hip-Hop Summer Intensive) with Trix.
Curtis "Trix" Pearson is a Hip-Hop choreographer and performer with over 14 years commercial dance experience and 12 years of teaching experience. He has appeared on BET's Hit Show 106 & Park as a weekly guest performer, and he was also a finalist on season nine of So You Think You Can Dance. As a choreographer and a professional dancer, Trix has worked with the Orlando Magic Dancers, choreographer Dexter Carr, and artists such as Pitbull, Sharaya J., TT The Artist, Marz From Cali, and more.
Currently, Trix is a guest faculty member at Broadway Dance Center and Peridance Company. He is also a master instructor for The Joffrey Ballet School's Hip-Hop Summer Intensive. The purpose of his visit at Buck Out Cleveland is to provide an intermediate masterclass to participants, recruit dancers for the Summer intensive, and provide a Q&A session for dancers interested in learning more about professional dance opportunities and developing a professional dance career.
