Career Night 2022

College Bound’s Annual Career Night provides students with the opportunity to participate in roundtable discussions with local professionals in various career fields. The goal for this event is to provide career awareness to 10th through 12th grade students and allow them to learn essential networking skills.

This year, Career Night will take place on March 21st 6:00-8:00pm through Zoom. Volunteers will be split into breakout rooms by career field to have round table discussions with students and other professionals in their field. There are no formal presentations required as this is meant to be a personal discussion about careers, with multiple professionals from the field in each room speaking with students conversationally. Volunteers will participate in these discussions with 2-3 groups of students over the course of the evening with topics such as: resumes, job and educational background or experience, daily tasks, internships, work/life balance, industry pay, and more.

A Zoom link and detailed schedule will be sent out to volunteers prior to the event, technical support will be provided in advance as well as on the evening of the event.
