Freedom Dreaming a Bright Future for Our Roses

Naika recognizes the power that girls, women, and femme presenting people of color have to rule the world. It's why they are seeking Women, femme, and gender non-conforming people leading businesses, shattering glass ceilings, and making a difference in the Las Vegas Community to volunteer to be a Mentor For A Day.  They are especially looking for women, femme, and gender non-conforming people who are passionate about their careers and who want to expose the next generation of community leaders to entrepreneurial and career pathways.  Each of our budding roses will be matched with a professional who they will shadow for a day some time during the summer months.  If you are a 'Boss Queen' willing to host a Rose from Concrete member for a fun day of exploring what it looks like to do what you do, then this volunteer opportunity is for you!  

Let us know you are ready to become a 'Mentor For A Day' with Rose from Concrete by completing this short volunteer application ASAP!  Once received, Naika will be in touch with important details and next steps!  

Can't host a rose but want to contribute?  Naika is also accepting sponsorships to support the #FreedomDreams of our budding roses. Consider making one of the following contributions.  We need 10 but are accepting up to 15 of each.

$25 will purchase a backpack full of schools supplies for one of our budding roses

$50 will purchase a set of books for one of our budding roses

$100 will cover the cost of monthly mentor activities and service learning opportunities

$500 will enable a budding rose to launch a community service project to make her community better

$1,000 covers the full program costs for a budding rose
