Remembering Brian
Help us celebrate the life and legacy of Brian Lloyd
MUSICIAN * SUPPORTER * BOARD CHAIR * CHEERLEADER * FRIEND
Brian Lloyd was a pillar of the Sonoma County Philharmonic for over 15 years. He guided the orchestra as Board Chair for five of those years, and helped build an organization and musical community that's now celebrating its 22nd season. Brian never stopped cheerleading for the orchestra he dearly loved, forever stopping people on the street, in the bank, at the farmer's market, telling them about the musical experience they couldn't afford to miss and make sure to bring the children.
We — his family of musicians and friends — will miss him dearly. We are dedicating our next concerts, April 2 & 3, to Brian's memory and his legacy.
One of Brian's visions for our orchestra had been to secure the use of a concert grand piano for the Philharmonic. Having a concert grand available to us would expand our performance repertoire and allow us to program piano works featuring both young artists and established local soloists. We would like to fulfill that dream.
You can help us celebrate the life and legacy of Brian Lloyd — and support our Grand Piano Project — by making a donation to the Philharmonic in Brian’s memory. Thank you for supporting our orchestra and for being a part of our musical family.
If you would prefer to donate by check, mail your contribution to: Sonoma County Philharmonic, P.O. Box 7438, Cotati, CA 94931, and indicate that it is in memory of Brian Lloyd.
