2022 EfTA Virtual Job Fair Company Registration
Meet the future workforce!
Are you a local business looking to hire?
Join the Education for Tomorrow Alliance Virtual Job Fair for local juniors and seniors from the Conroe and Willis Independent School Districts to meet our future workforce!
This is an opportunity for companies to share short presentations with high school students and soon-to-be graduates seeking full- and part-time employment. While the event does not offer a space for one-on-one interviews, it presents an opportunity for companies to offer a company overview, employment opportunities and requirements, and Q & A time with small groups of potential employees.
Several of the participating students have certain industry-based skillsets and certifications that include but are not limited to; ASE, AUTOCAD, OSHA 30, ServeSafe Manager, API Welding, EKG, EMT, Phlebotomy, Pharmacy Tech, Construction Technology, Veterinary Assistant, Microsoft Office and more!
Participating companies will be asked to prepare for three 15-minute sessions with groups of students that have chosen to learn about your company. Students have been told that this is not a job interview, but a learning opportunity. Students will be given the companies contact information following the sessions to individually reach out to inquire about the open job opportunities.
This year we will be hosting two sessions in order to make sure the students are getting a chance to meet with each employer. Tuesday, March 29 will be reserved for 11th graders that are looking for part-time/summer work. Wednesday, March 30 will be reserved for 12th graders that are looking for either full or part-time work beginning after graduation.
When: Tuesday, March 29 - High School Juniors
Wednesday, March 30 - High School Seniors
9:00 am - 10:30 am
Where: Zoom
There is no cost to register, but employers should plan to attend the full duration of each session for which they register.
